Rural Development / Agricultural Investments

Investments in Montenegro’s agricultural sector are strategically supported under the EU’s IPARD III Programme (2021–2027). The programme foresees a total investment budget of €128 million, with €63 million from the European Union, €18.9 million from national sources, and the remainder contributed by beneficiaries. Rural Development / Agricultural Investments

Investment sizes range from €10,000 to €2,000,000, with grant support of 60% to 75% depending on the project. Higher rates apply especially to young farmers and certified organic producers. Additional incentives are available for environmentally friendly practices, waste management, and renewable energy use.
